This is to notify all concerned that Presidency University, which aims to foster academic excellence through an inclusive and equal 'opportunities approach', conducts a review of its academic, administrative and other systems, from time to time. Recently it has undertaken a similar review of its admission system, and after a detailed examination of all aspects of the matter including suggestions feedback received from the stake holders and with the objective of providing a level-playing field to students from the different education boards and for creating an enabling environment to attract the brightest minds from across the states (irrespective of the medium of instruction at the 10+2 level) it has been decided that the admission test for all UG and PG courses in Presidency University for the academic session 2017-2018 may be in bi-lingual format, i.e., in English and Bengali languages depending on feasibility in terms of the nature of questions. The WBJEEB, which has been entrusted to conduct the said admission, is being informed accordingly.
