About-
My research interests pertain to the field of economic sociology and anthropology. Through my doctoral work i tried to understand the sociology of informal markets in India. Currently I am developing a research project on transition that has taken place in manufacturing practices and utilisation of labour in the post liberal era. My research is extended towards understanding urbanism which is intricately linked with the wider processes of urbanisation, migration and restructuration of city spaces.
