Sealed tenders in duplicate are hereby invited on behalf of the Registrar, Presidency University, College Street, Kolkata – 700 073, in the prescribed form from reputed, bonafide and resourceful contractors for proposed renovation works of the Offices of Finance Officer & Dean of Students at Presidency University, 86/1, College Street, Kolkata-700 073.

Earnest money will be accepted in the form of Bank Draft drawn in the favour of Presidency University payable at Kolkata.
No interest will be paid in this amount of earnest money deposited by the tenderer.

Tender Papers and other details will be available at the office of the Finance Officer, Presidency University, 86/1 College Street, Kolkata – 700 073 from 24 / 01 / 2014 to 30/01/2014 between 10.30 AM and 5 PM on payment of Rs 1,000/- by Demand Draft in favor of “ Presidency University” payable at Kolkata on all working days except Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays.

Tender in duplicate, will have to be submitted in two parts: Cover –I and Cover –II separately sealed and superscribed with the name of work.

Cover I shall contain Earnest Money, covering letter and all credentials and conditions, if any, stipulated by the tenderer.

Cover II shall contain the complete tender document duly filled and signed with stamp in all pages in duplicate. No condition stipulated in Cover II other than general rebates shall be accepted.

Tenders in Cover I and Cover II shall again be put in a separate sealed cover. This will be received upto 3 PM on 31/01/2014. Cover I and Cover II will be opened at 3.30 PM on the same day in the office of Registrar, Presidency University, Kolkata-700 073 on the same date in presence of the contractors or their authorized representatives who may like to be present. The University reserves the right to reject any or all of the tenders received without assigning any reason thereof. The right to not to accept the lowest bidder is also reserved by the University.

The University retains the right to cancel any of the items at a later date after the contract is awarded.
