Call for nominations/applications for the post of Vice Chancellor, Presidency University, Kolkata

Nominations/applications are invited for the post of Vice Chancellor of Presidency University, Kolkata, a prestigious institution of higher learning established by the Government of West Bengal. The Vice Chancellor shall be a distinguished academic having commitment to nurturing and promoting excellence in teaching and research in the University, with proven competence and integrity, and having a minimum of ten years of experience in a University system, of which at least five years shall be as a Professor, or ten years of experience in a reputed research or academic-administrative organisation, of which at least five years shall be in an equivalent position of Professor. Vice Chancellor shall hold office for a term of four years or till he/she attains the age of sixty-five years, whichever is earlier.

The nominations shall be made by persons of academic eminence in the prescribed format, which is available in the official portal of the University (http://presiuniv.ac.in). Last date for submission of nomination/application is 30^th April, 2018. In addition, hard copies (in triplicate) must reach the office of the Registrar, Presidency University latest by 5 pm on 4 ^th May 2018.
