I completed my MPhil in Library and Information Science from the University of Calcutta. My M.Phil. dissertation, titled “Resource Sharing among the Libraries of Test and Calibration Laboratories", focused on the mechanisms and practices of resource sharing among specialised libraries.

My research interests primarily focus on strengthening library services, improving access to information resources, and exploring innovative approaches to information management and dissemination. My academic and research interests encompass library automation; digitisation and digital libraries; Resource Sharing and networking; user needs survey and information-seeking behaviour studies; community information systems and services; information retrieval; and emerging technologies in library and information science.
