Dr. Ruidas has made significant scholarly contributions through publications in reputed journals, including Annals of Data Science, Symmetry, REVSTAT–Statistical Journal, and Life Cycle Reliability and Safety Engineering. His research includes the development and application of novel distributions such as the Transmuted Zeghdoudi, Mgamma, and polynomial exponential family of distributions, along with advancements in estimation techniques and Bayesian prediction under progressive censoring frameworks.
He was awarded the Best Paper Award at the 5th Regional Science Congress in recognition of his research contributions. In addition to his research, Dr. Ruidas is actively engaged in teaching and mentoring in statistics, fostering analytical and methodological skills among students.
His current and future research interests include hybrid censoring techniques, reliability modeling, and further advancements in distribution theory and applied statistics.

B.Sc Statistics and M.Sc from Visva Bharati University in the year 2015 and 20217 respectively. Ph. D from West Bengal State University in 2025, Kolkata. Diploma in He;lath Statistics from AIIH&PH, Kolkata under WBUHS in 2018
