Walk-in interview for appointment of Junior Research Fellows for Ph.D Programme in the Department of Geography, Presidency University, Kolkata

A walk-in interview will be held on 27.05.2015 at 12.00 noon at the Department of Geography, Presidency University, 86/1, College Street, Kolkata-73 for the appointment of Junior Research fellows for provisional enrolment in the Ph.D Programme of the University. Interested candidates having their own fellowship (CSIR-NET-JRF/UGC-JRF fellowships only) may apply for the same.

Duration of Fellowship/Programme : As per UGC guidelines

Fellowship : As admissible according to UGC guidelines

Essential Qualification : M.Sc. in Geography with minimum of 55% in final qualifying examination (50% for SC/ST/PH candidates) and UGC-CSIR-NET-JRF qualified. The candidate must not have qualified the UGC-CSIR-NET-JRF Award prior to June 2014.

Desirable : Research experience in the relevant field

Application in plain paper with a hard copy of CV is to be submitted on the date of interview. Candidates should bring testimonials in original along with three Photocopies and report 30 minutes before the interview.
