Applications are invited from highly motivated individuals for two JRF positions in a DBT, New Delhi approved Project entitled "Screening of Indian bamboo germplasms to identify elite genotypes having superior lignocellulosic composition, their ex situ conservation and characterization of the candidate genes” in the Laboratory of Dr. Malay Das, Department of Life Sciences, Presidency University, kolkata.

As per funding agency (UGC/CSIR/DBT, Govt. of India) rules and regulations
The candidate must have good academic record with first class Masters degree in any branch of Life Sciences from recognized University and preferably have qualified UGC/CSIR/DBT- NET with own fellowship or at least NET (LS).
Research interests/experience in molecular biology, biochemistry and basic knowledge in Plant Biology
