The position is purely temporary, subject to availability of fund, and available for three years / termination of the project, whichever is earlier. Appointment will be subjected to annual review for further extension will be granted based on the research progress and accomplishments.

Salary:

For the for the first two years, fellowship of a JRF will be @ Rs 16,000 per month + 15% HRA + Rs 300 M.A. = Rs. 18,700 per month.

In the third year, fellowship of a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) would be @ 18,000 per month + 15% HRA + Rs. 300 M.A. = Rs. 21,000 per month.

Essential Qualification:

M.Sc. in Physiology/ Life Sciences/ allied subjects from recognized University (NET qualification desirable but not essential). Candidates with experience in preparation of animal models, cell culture, nutritional assessment techniques and dealing with human subjects will be given preference.
