A walk in Interview at the Department of Sociology for a Research Assistant

A walk in Interview would be held on the 22.12.2014 at 3:30pm. at the Department of Sociology for a Research Assistant for a project funded by the ICSSR titled “Performing Childhoods, Performing Children: Childhood and Indian Theatre” under the project director Dr. Hia Sen. The duration of the post is initially for a period of 10 months (can be extended till June 2016 depending on fund sanction)

Essential Qualifications : The candidate must preferably have above 55% in their MA (50% for SC/ST/ PH). The candidate must have familiarity with research in the Sociology of Childhood and about contemporary Children’s Theatre in India. Knowledge of qualitative research methods is essential.

Place of Interview: Department of Sociology, Presidency University, Kolkata

Salary: As per ICSSR project rules.

The candidate should report 30 minutes before the interview. The candidate should bring original documents, degrees and BA MA gradesheets , relevant referencesand 3 photocopies of the gradesheets and degrees as well as three copies of their Curriculum Vitae.

The original documents , the Curriculum Vitae and the relevant references are to be submitted to the Selection Committee before the interview.
